This speech is widely considered the greatest speech of our time. Delivered in front of 250,000 people on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. in 1963 this speech was a rallying cry for the civil liberties movement and is a testament to the power of non-violence. This is one of my favourite speeches , Dr kings famous speech ‘ I have a dream’ each word is grasped by anyone listening to it, the beauty of how he believed in his people and how he used power for the good and how he believed in peace and integration between the two races.
