Well, I wouldn't really call it a phenomena but its an observation related to the atmosphere. So ill share it. And i'm sure many others have experienced this before.

I remember when I was about 7 years old, that's when I first thought that the moon was following our car. We went camping somewhere near Oman. And we just laid down and watched out for shooting stars. The moon was so bright that we could actually see the clouds so white. I had a bunny, back then, named Fluffy. Coincidently, the cloud I was glaring at looked like a rabbit. Not really, but very similar. So I screamed: FLUFFFYYYY ! Mom, he ran away from home :(

Lame, but when I read the post I remembered that incident :)

I haven't had any experiences like that but that looks amazing!

If I get the chance I would love to see the Northern Lights and a Sun Dog with my own eyes.

Me neither, I hope to one day!

It was only after watching the video the second time and reading the info box that I realized the bright spots weren't street lights..
blonde moment.

Me four! I too have never seen a sun dog, probably because I've never visited any country with a typically cold climate, but would be delighted to witness one some day. I've heard they're pretty common in places like Alaska. Reiterating what Mr.Roberts said, sun dogs and rainbows are distant cousins, just like how the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and the Volkswagen Touareg are distant cousins. By the way, it's worth wondering as to how the name 'sun dog' was coined. They don't look anything like dogs or even hot dogs. Then again, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo doesn't look anything like the exotic pepper which it is named after either.

I have never physically witnessed something like that but i have seen footage and photos of The Northern Lights and a multi coloured moon.

It would be amazing to witness something like that.
