Going through your Multiple Intelligences rainbow graphs I noticed a large number of you scored very highly on the musical intelligence section. Just for next week I thought it might be a good idea to learn English through music. So, for next week (Sunday onwards) please come prepared to take part in the following activities:. Choose your favourite song in terms of song lyrics. Give a two minute presentation to the class on why you like it, who it's by, and what the song is about. (Have the song lyrics on a usb stick to display on the whiteboard).
. Be prepared to analyse the song lyrics to a couple of songs.
. Write a review of your favourite song.
. Bring a musical instrument to school and share your talent with the class. (Don't bring a grand piano :)

Quite unfortunately I havent exactly practiced playing an instrument in a couple years so I think i'll be passing on that part.
But I'm not really... Touched, by music. Although it should be good to see what others think are the most influential and favourited lyrics (is lyrics the plural form?) in the music that they have heard...
Also interesting to see how many people bring in the song instead of just the lyrics...

i cant myself play a guitar. but guitar music enthralls me. and if there are budding guitarists in my class, I am thoroughly going to enjoy listening to some good music. I hope! :P
