The godfather is one of the most classic books ever written. It is written by the world renowned writer Mario Puzo.
It has affected my life in the most important way of life. This book showed me the way the Italian mafias used to function and how they all had begun small but ended up controlling huge parts of the cities .I found it very interesting how the head of the family used to assign a task to his men and they used to assign it to someone else under them . This process protected the heads of the mafia families from get busted by the police if the hitman/man in charge of the work assigned was caught.
Another interesting idea which was in this book was how the people took revenge or vendetta. They always controlled their anger and planned well to take revenge later on. Skillfully planned that no-one would suspect them of doing the act later on.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of the movies or anything to do with mafias.
