Planet and star scales



I posted this last year, but I thought I'd post it again as it's an interesting video. This makes a nice companion video to Carl Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot." On scale of stars the earth fades into nothingness. (2 min.)

I saw this long time ago but wasn't able to post a comment. I was really fascinated by the different sizes of stars billion miles away from us. And we though that the sun was big. So not true!
