My eyes filled with childlike wonder as I stood mesmerized in front of the giant window, which was the only barrier between me and the mysterious cosmos, a magic world that stretched beyond imagination. My hand rose timidly, shyly reaching for the magnificent magician that was hiding beneath his black velvet cape. The stars, glittering like little diamonds sewed on that same cloak, winked playfully at me, laughing silently at a joke only they understood. I blinked rapidly. Delight, awe, reverence- they all flooded my mind, intoxicating me with the tremendous power of raw emotion. This was heaven.
An eternal, black coat stretched across my view, infinite and desolate, so lost, so barren and so infinitely vast, that it was like a muted monster, one that thrived upon the loneliness it held so dearly to it, one that froze in a gap between time and light, and allowed its organs to circle each other, and annihilate each other. This rampaging monster stank of hell, of an inferno-like space; dark, but pulsing with light; silent, but at war with itself; beautiful, but chaos reigns from within, so that it was beckoning to me, whispering to me, encircling my mind with its wondrous, but intense, surroundings, so that it can devour me, consume me, eradicate me from existence, and force me to travel on an endless cycle of torture, where deserts upon deserts of magnified Earth’s would smile down at me, glare at me while I am alone and dumbstruck, until my eyes would melt from the frequent bursts of white, writhing light, like multiple sun-like stars erupting into pure energy, energy that released the brightest aura that no man has ever seen, that no man has ever glimpsed, that no man has ever survived, as with the devastating light, came crystal-like eruptions of pure heat, inhaling its power from the energy, and sending everlasting hellfire comets, to vivaciously blaze with its immense power, so that it can prove its dominating strength, like a flaming fist, pulsing with its tremendous heat-intensity. Space was too small a word, for something so tremendous.
I gazed through the clear glass at the mystifying scene. Here, before my bewildered eyes, was a cosmic masterpiece basked in glory galore! The myriad stars shone in bright light with a lustrous passion, a striking brilliance. They glittered like the promise of hope, of prosperity, of ardent love and compassion. These stars adorned the universe, glittering like the countless jewels set in a king’s crown. The expanse of outer space was an intemperately guarded vault of diamonds I had succeeded to break into, and the gems beamed from every niche and corner! Their imperial radiance stirred a profound sense of delight within me, and left me in awestruck wonder!
^ Mo, Faiza Goodness me! Awesome! Very impressive - seriously amazing stuff! If you write like this in the exam then you'll ace it with your eyes closed!
P.s. Although Mo, you really need to be able condense your ideas from the exam perspective. Also, the idea was to create a positive mood of wonder and delight - try your hand at that as well.
Sure, although I use this method in a way of creating a silent "wow." from the examiner's mind, therefore creating awe. Also, is it a must to write within the word limit? I mean, will I lose marks if I write an extra page?
Mo, you will DEFINITELY lose marks for exceeding the word limit. The whole idea is to prove to the examiner you can make your point within the prescribed rubrics of the question. Remember, it's an essay, not a short story or a novel.
I pressed my face up the shuttle window, my breath leaving a misty fog upon the ice-cold surface, and gaped in awe as the stars danced, leaping into a wild frenzy, flames of gold and scarlet surrounding each orb, glowing gloriously, with such light that can be compared to a besotted man's passion, never ceasing to burn. The intense light blinded my eyes. yet I could do nothing but unblinkingly stare at the marvellous site, trying my best to absorb everything. The tiny blue speck in the distance twinkled significantly, reminding me of its existence as my home planet, now miniscule and comparable to a fleck of paint that simply contributed to the whole white, glistening, masterpiece that happens to be the Milky way, majestically floating among others in the black, elegant, silky satin cosmos.
I stare out the thick, glass window, my eyes are fixed upon the glistening, glowing and gleaming specs in the distance. Millions of them perched amongst the deep, dark, drapery of space like shimmering stardust. Seamlessly and majestically we soar above the earth, which is now just a blue-green spec amongst the stars. Hypnotised from the sights around me I drift off into the stars, the silence in the cabin only enhancing my fascination with the picturesque setting beyond the glass. Gliding above, my glorious experience seems nothing but a dream, like a fairytale of magic, wizardry and sorcery. It felt like the universe itself had reached out into my imagination and turned it into reality. Sir, if that isn't some proper descriptive writing then I'm going to second language...
Marvel flashes through my eyes as I plead and long to reach out and adjoin the twinkling bursts of gold and silver light, nothing but the impenetrable glass of my spaceship barricading me from the glorious beauty that fills up the colossal unknown domain before me. I am spellbound, speechless, as I stare straight ahead through the somewhat fogged thick porthole of my ship, into the most enchanting fairy tale come true. I feel like a young bird about to be set free to explore a mystifying velvet sky, glistening with glorious sparks of wizardry. Wonder and excitement further fill me up as a fiery gold and scarlet stream blinks right by my window, and I am once again in desperate longing to be broken away from the cord that holds me down to my spaceship, binding me away from the bewildering infinite blackness which is lit up by exquisite magical fairy-like dust. I am no less than a wizard that has witnessed and performed magic beyond words, or ones imagination.
There I was in the immense beauty of the universe, filled with absolute awe. I gazed out into the space, my heart beating faster than light. Excitement running through me like wild fire. I was entrapped in astonishment, wondering what mysteries this limitless expanse held. I stared at the stars, as many as the grains of sand in a desert. Almost like someone had sprinkled fairy dust all over. It was beyond imagination, unbelievable, just magical! I was utterly exhilarated by this fabulous place where vastness was nothing but a mere dot. And I realized how insignificant the earth really is!
Staring out the porthole of my spaceship,my eyes were sore from staring at the marvel, which was just an inch of glass away from me. Stuck to the porthole, I was addicted to it like a drug, not wanting to let go. Dazzled, awestruck and astounded by the brilliance of the known but unknown place, I clutched onto this addiction for a longer period of time. The pitch dark surrounding with its stars scattered around, looked like a diamond gleaming in a bag of coal, or the sign of hope when a torch flashes down a well, in the depths of which I was lost. It was perfect. No distraction, stress or pollution, it was just me, the infinite darkness and the piercing silence which let out a lifeless vibe and aura.
Infinite blackness. Swallowing us whole. An endless, impercievable cloak wrapped around all that is energy, mass and matter, inevitably dominating all in its majestic path. My eyes, enraged by the greed of wanting to discover more of this cosmos, could not pierce through this eternal blanket of pitch black that stared maliciously back at me, basking in its triumph of not betraying the existence of any of its inhabitants, other than the silent wave that permeated the atmosphere around our floating space shuttle. I gazed onwards, humbled by the delight, worship, fear - intensity blinding me from the patency of the insignificance of our species' existence.
As I soared to the heavens unknown, a sense of exhileration empowered me like a spell. It was all an intoxiczting illusion, conjured by the most skillful of wizards; the stars, like glistening diamonds in the sky danced, leapt and revolved around me like faries, singing quiet and gentle lullabies. I basked in the sheer marvel, that is space.
The Universe was ashtonishing. I felt as if Im in a Giant, weird and old fashioned Kingly throat. The grandeur of this magnificent passage was extraordinarily impressive. Darkness all around, all above and all down. Within this pitch dark throat of the Universes diameter laid lustrous edible jewels. Sheeny diamonds constantly flew around in the uncalculabe space like elated fairies would in a majestic room or as though the King had just had his evening repast of royal muffins and cakes. Those brightly coloured orbs, encircled with a mixture of glossy purple and red were in huge number. It appeared to be a museum of one of Natures finest collections, located in a magical world which seemed to have no corners nor edges. Excitement, awe and wonder accompanied me in that mute, quiet and estranging world as I stared out of My triple-glazed glass window.
I stood there dumbfounded, in front of a glassed window. This was the only barrier between me and silver stars that danced like diminutive elves, the sliver dust that glowed like diamonds, the ostentatious spheres that were as enthralling as crystal balls. I was staring in wonder, exhilarated at what I saw, rousing at what lay before my bewildered eyes, I was spellbound. I stood there in front of a flamboyant panorama that was the space.
Staring through the small window of my space shuttle, I was left stunned. Floating among different stars and constellations, brightly gazing upon me in different colours and hues. A magical view, staring into the colourful open space made me feel immortal. The bewildering sight left me breathless. Like an artist staring at his masterpiece, the universe was my canvas filled with striking colors, the stars, planets, comets. I was belittled by how colossal our universe is, the feeling of astonishment swallowed the feeling or fright I had in my gut and suddenly fell in love with the picturesque view in front of me.
The dark and painful silence enveloped me as I stared, mesmerized out of the window of the shuttle. My mind pondered upon the theory behind how those grand marbles of mass were held in mid air - it had to be some form of an illusion! As my eyes scanned the infinite, enchanting and chilling surroundings, my heart began to pound furiously, attempting to escape the prison that is my body. It yearned to have the freedom that the stars and planets possessed here in space. From all around, the blackness crept up on me, blanketing me in a frightening yet intoxicating new world.
I gaze out of the porthole stunned by the charm of this indefinite blanket which organized these magnificent and breath-taking hosts. The shimmering celestial bodies powdered like silver pixie dust on this boundless black blanket – some that throb, some that explode and some that twinkle to a tune only these gleaming bodies comprehend .. among them one regal star we call the sun shinning in its matchless glory full of grandeur, splendor and robed in majesty sending out fierce golden spells. As we soar to the highest heavens I see our home which seemed like a palette with fusion of blue, green and white.. none can fathom these awe-inspiring works of creation..
gyrosI stared out of the clear glass of the shuttle and my eyes met with a sight that completely caught me off my guard. Stretched out before me, was the infinite, enthralling, magnificient universe; an unmoving, halcyon ocean devoid of a horizon, the depths of which held an alein secret. My eyes filled with wonder, trying to vision the enormity of what lay before, after, to the sides, all around me. Stars and light shone everywhere-dazzling silver, fiery yellow and flaming red, like that on a giant christams tree. Perplexity, marvel and stupefaction, all rolled into me at once, casting a spell, magicing me into a sleep brimmed to the top with fascinating dreams-dreams from which I would never want to rouse.
I look out the big porthole onto the glorious, infinite space. The new majestic world is enchanting, stimulating and fascinating. The rushing energy around me puts me into a sense of awe. The bewildering universe ahead of me is hypnotizing by the way the purple and blue stars are dancing, soaring and leaping about. Bright white stars are thrown into the distance like silver dust thrown by a fairy. The turquoise earth looks like a crystal ball, enclosing everybody’s fate. The asteroids and comets gliding and floating around magnificent planets, played about by a wizard in control of them. Nothing in the world can peal my eyes away from the exciting and rapturous universe.
Blackness – complete blackness swamped my eyes as I gawked at the sight framed by the enormous and sharply contrasting pale window. Darker than charcoal – suffocating, menacing yet awe-inspiring, there it lay in front of me, the vast and mysterious universe. The ominous darkness was balanced by the mischievious stars, twinkling playfully, quietly stealing the limelight. My eyes beheld the sight greedily, igniting a flurry of emotion - wonder, reverence and appreciation for a beauty that I couldn't even begin to describe.
Excitement bubbled inside me as I gazed out of my spaceship eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of the first sign of my arrival in the most enchanting magical world-The Universe.A blinding, lightening fast meteor sped past the porthole as if in answering welcome.Seconds later the scene that unfolded before my unblinking eyes sent thrilling vibration all through me.Hypnotized by it, I could not help but gasp with delight at the zenith of splendour-an unending velvety void embellished with millions and millions of brightly coloured, shimmering, twinkling diamonds, crystals, zircons and all sorts of gems which all seemed to smile warmly at me.This enveloped the very core of me with utter bliss. As I stared out into the port-hole I realised just how amazing and breath taking the infinite wonders of space are, billions of stars that resembled magical fairy dust made my eyes light up like a christmas tree. An endless cape of velvet as far as the eye could see made me feel like I found out the true meaning of being. The blue/green planet Earth seemed like an insignificant dot compared to the amazement of the brilliant planets and asteroids on dislpay in this exhilarating magic show available for a lucky select few. Who knew that looking out a "window" could bring such fascination and excitement, but then again, this is not an ordinary window, it was a window that allowed me to look into heavenly and majestic peace that played with my imagination like nothing else could.
Transfixed upon the mesmerizing vision before me, my eyes refuse to wrench away from this sight of glorious twinkling lights intertwined across the unlimited confines of space. The air around me is void of sound, except that of my own shallow breathing. I float aimlessly in a vacuum, and realization dawns upon me- all that bounds me to this airship is a frail wire, as fragile as a thread. One snap, and I shall be detached into this never ending space, free to unveil the secret of this mystery we call our Universe. Gazing at the openness before me, the distant lights stare back, flashing and winking, almost mocking my sheer insignificance. Yet I retort with nonchalance- savouring each minute detail, I turn my head inch by inch till my eyes feast hungrily upon my prey; the Earth, a measly speck, whose severe entrapment I have finally escaped. Realizing this, I am engulfed with a bittersweet triumph I did not know existed, and the feeling swallows me up whole.
ilence. Streams of stars drown me and drag me further into a sea of eternal darkness. Gravity loosens its grip, weightlessness surrounds me and a sense of freedom engulfs me. My mind blurs like an unfocused picture and fills itself with the unexplainable beauty that now imprisons me. As I stare into the forever extending flow of black through the chilled glass of the port hole, time stops and traps me in this unforgettable moment. The green and blue tones of earth subtly muted behind the soft silver twinkle of precious stars and the harsh mysterious shadows of space. It’s incredible, simply breathtaking.
As I gazed out of my space shuttle's tiny little porthole, all I could see were bright white, silver stars sparkling all around a blue green spot, the Earth. It was breath taking, bewildering sight. I felt as I've entered a very creative and imaginative painters creation. It seemed to repulse and seduce, invite you to the magnificent majestic universe. I felt it was a dream with wizardry and magic. My eyes were wide open and I couldn't believe the fact that I was 100,000,000,00 Billion KM away from the Earth. =D
Sir If This Ain't Good, Then I Guess I Have To Try Out Second Language =(
Shyly approaching the glass, the only barrier between me and the universe of mysteries, my heart raced pumping adrenalin through my veins. I gasped, eyes wide opened, my jaws dropped at the astonishing view from my space shuttle window. Before me lay sheer blackness, pure blackness, blankness filled with sparkling gems of all shapes, colours and sizes. The silence helped build the suspense, the tension that lingered unobtrusively. Gravity releases its grip, I was free, no boundaries a feeling that is truly intoxicating. I was hypnotized, seduced by the moving expanse that was beyond my reach. It had to be an illusion, it was too magical, just too powerful!
Sir feedback plzzz!!! plzz I wana hear that I'm nearly there!! hhahaha gosh when o when am I getting that A* ;) XD
I'm zipping past a sort of cosmic rainbow, left absolutely awestricken by the sheeny blotches flying past me. I stand here, bound to the glass window, unable to take my eyes off the stars, dancing in choreographed patterns, mesmerizing me. As my spaceship accelerates further, I sit back and admire how skillfully the shimmering palette of gold and silver has been used to paint a picture as splendid as our universe. The thousand sparkling gems strewn across the black canvas leave me flummoxed. I begin to wonder how two contrasting colours are set in concert so passively. A feel of superiority rushes through me as I spot an obscure concoction of blue and green at a considerable distance, why it’s mother Earth! I spot the planet’s little minion, the moon constantly revolving around the miniscule ball. Why, it’s not only the moon, it’s every planet contingent upon the other just like our earth is, upon the colossal red ball of fire, our sun. The golden lofty orb is emitting unimaginable amounts of light, instantly grabbing my attention....
Have just been reading your rewritten opening paragraph. Wow! What a HUGE improvement from the assessment - you ALL took on board the things we discussed - you've focussed on mood, you've used adjectives and similes, you've focussed on creating an atmosphere of wonder, you've used imagery... all in all I'm extremely delighted! You all have tremendous potential and I'm glad you applid yourself and took this seriously. It was a REAL pleasure to read your work! :) :)
YAAAY i did well :D :P i guess i just needed more time so i can write slower and concentrate more to write a better paragraph, i'll have to practise writing quicker and better then :P
I opened my eyes and took a peak out the space shuttles window, heart racing, and animated with a dash of fear. Suddenly i had been reborn, and this time immortal. The silver stars surrounded me floating like pixies, as i stared back in disbelief, feeling my eyes grow wider by the second. It seemed as if anything was possible while i watched the stars dance around the planets with their own brilliance. For the first time in my life i had felt nothing short of invincible.
As i pressed my head against the small peerhole window in the space ship i could see the magical life beyond earth, this sight put me into a state of trance and exctacy... i couldnt believe my eyes,a carpet of blackness, yet brighter than anything i had ever seen before, the millions upon millions of sparkling stars like crystals pouring all over. It was like a new life up here which is never ending, infinite. It felt greater than anything man could ever think of making.
I can feel my heartbeat banging against my chest. Disbelief is written all over my face as I am staring out of this small glass which divides my reality and the wonders of the Universe. The blinking white specs against the never ending black setting brings tears to my eyes. It's nothing less then stunning. I am envious of the beauty of these tiny diamond-like specs and how they are able to float with such grace. I want to be them, to float without any care, to just be graceful and beautiful.
The creation lay in front of me, behind me and either side of me like an infinite coated blanket. A curtain of stars draped patches of this vast space which ran into the distance. Astonishment gushed inside me with rage, joy over flowed within my mind in this world of fantasy, curiosity buckled me down, forcing me to explore this magical world. Paddling a few meters ahead, I was suddenly blinded, blinded by a source of light, a source of light so bright our sun would be considered dull! I was enveloped, light surrounded me within seconds. My pupils locked on to the blue rock like object, I smiled at this minute blue gem we call our home..
I stood motionless at the tiny window; captivated by the mesmerizing glory of the universe, contemplating whether this was a vivid dream or a shocking reality. This was like a fantasy world, an unparallel world which filled me with feelings of awe, incredulity and admiration which entered my mind like deadly poison which intoxicated me. The cosmos filled with utter mystery stretched into the infinite ends in shrouded blackness like an uncharted ocean which was ready to be explored; it made my blood rush through my body with toxic adrenalin as quick as a shooting star. The infinitesimal stars shone in the far distance, twinkling in the darkness every few seconds like lights on a Christmas tree. I gazed longingly at the stars as they winked slyly in an innocent manner as a feeling of insignificance seeped in.
As i sat gazing out, through the glass window that seperated me from the immensely beautiful and awe inspiring sight - that is the universe. I was struck speechless. each twinkling star that appeared took my breath away. Billions of myriad star shaped diamonds intricately woven into a cloth draped around the body of a serenly enchanting lady called the universe, who's soul we reside in makes me feel blessed. She mesmerises, entices, and bewitches one's senses, intoxicatingly provoking the on-looker to come forth and take another closer look -at the masterpiece created by GOD...
Gazing out from the oval shaped window of the spaceship I was mesmerized by what I discovered. The sight was simply stunning; the sky was draped with a soft black velvet fabric embedded with hundreds and thousands of gleaming white diamond like stars. The sight was very unique as it was just basic black and white put together which stood up against all the flashy and made-up wonders found of earth. Earth seemed more like a chaotic sea, where things always changed in a continuous motion, which was constantly saturated by sound. Whereas, space was like a tranquil pond, where the time was still and the air was filled with an everlasting soothing silence.
I could literally hear myself gasp. Staring back at me isn't just my vacuous, dumbfounded reflection on the window of my shuttle, the only extant segregation between me and the dreamy but deadly, seducing world outside..it is the universe. I've heard, read and thought so much about you. Numerous fables, countless of hours dusting old books in forgotten libraries, making my own assumptions..but nothing, nothing satiated me. I kept going back for more. My eyes nervously take in what lie mystically in front of me- like a magician's ever concealing dark-soot cloak, flowed with such slender and mystery, upon which tonnes and tonnes of powdered diamonds have been sprinkled generously. The colour black is not the colour we're familiar back at home. This black peers into your soul, numbs the mind and consumes the whole body within seconds, rendering us as nothing but a fraction of a speck.Awe or fear?Reverence or mere intimidation? I just cannot put my finger to it.
The open onyx vastness of the universe stretched out before me, and behind me and in all directions like an army surrounding enemy borders. It's tantalizing inescapable array of glistining gems peered at my small insignificance with great supercilious disdainfuless. Even Zeus, ruler of God's, could never contain this magnificent wonder that is the universe. Neither can Athena fathom this inexplicable profundication. Yet lost in the immensity of some magnificant star and forgotten in the splendorous superbity of this praisable art, is the superfluous efforts of the pompous presumptuous men compressed on the infinitesimal planet earth.
I stare out the glass porthole of my spaceship in awe, wonder and and utter amazement. I was surrounded by a blanket of darkness, and scattered around me were the sparkling diamonds of the night sky. There, in the middle of it all, lay the resplendent, shining, blue gem we called home. There was something magnificent about the vastness of space, the sheer magnitude of the idea we were simply a small dot swimming in the oceans of the inky black cosmos, which was both frightening and inspiring at the same time. In all this chaos, I think as I look outside, hynotized by the mesmerizing stars that wink playfully in the sooty black shroud of the universe, we found safety.
My eyes widened to absorb the astonishing master piece that was displayed in front of me. It was like watching a Broadway performance; orchestrated to perfection. From my cold, leather seat I felt a moment of sincere and overwhelming pride. Unsolicited goose bumps crept up my arms as I made myself anxious and in a state of wonder. The scene exhibited before me was a resemblance of a cocktail of black crepe, linen and silk with a hints of navy blue, embellished with glistening gemstones. Getting closer to the enigmatic space, I was completely, utterly and unusually still. The sudden shivers of excitement wrapped my body, amazement seeped into my face and nervousness was clinging to my hand that caused them to shake. I was mesmerised, seeing earth as if it was a speck of azure glitter.
The vast blackness of shadows within shadows permeating through shadows, encapsulated our comparatively infinitesimal, sliver of a craft in the resonating expanse; muffling our very existence in this unfathomable thickness that saturated the lack of substance around us in its thick, smoky, claustrophobia-inducing cloak. Tiny, shimmering, shards of diamonds filled the sky piercing its forceful, dark evil with liberating determination; twinkling furtively like they were hiding a secret from us in these depths of eternity.
My round, child-like eyes gazed in awe through the frosty porthole, at the picturesque magic show, exhibiting luminary gems playfully winking at me, inviting me into the vastness of space. The backdrop to these exquisite diamond-shaped charms was an infinite, dark, velvet cape, much like a phenomenal magicians. This luminous one-man magic show was a glimpse of a dream, a prospect so appealing, it made my inquiring eyes flutter and my delicate, thumping heart skip a beat out of pure ecstasy. Glaring back at me was an artistic beauty, so indescribable, so ineffable; the work of a true magician. He raised his gleaming, radiating wand of twinkling stars and with a swift, poised swoop, he shaped ravishing ringlets upon ringlets of extravagant swirls of what was known as The Milky Way. Admiration, bewilderment, pure inquisitiveness flooded through my veins and for a never-ending space that was all there was.
Drowning in awe and reverence, I deliberately scrutinsed through the porthole and witnessed a world beyond my possible imagination. My eyes widened to absorb my disbelief and allowed me to gaze at the playful diamonds that were continuously winking with an attempt to awaken me from my dumbfounded state. They failed. I was intoxicated with the raw image of a pitch-black canvas engraved with luminary gems inviting me to the depths of eternity. My throbbing heart skipped a beat as the panorama of ineffablity screamed euphoria. My mind was flooded with the entangled truth that put me through bewilderment. Simply breathtaking it was.
The porthole continued to frost as I breathed heavily onto it; I was awe-struck by ever-lasting beauty of eternal space. The rough, glittering light of the stars hung inside my eyes, letting it shine brighter than the stars that encircled me. Against the bright and lustrous stars contrasted the deep, meaningless blackness that seduced me, like a siren, into the dark, mysterious shadows of space. I will regret the moment when I depart from dazzling universe back into the puny, blue-green speck that I belong to.
I gaped at the infinite blanket of oblivion that unfurled itself before me. It seemed to rolled out further and further until it greeted infinity. There we’re inestimable numbers of stars twinkling and winking at me; alluring me in and taking advantage of my incredulity. I fell for their spectacular glowing luminescence for my eyes had never experienced such a thing. Bit by bit, large clusters of glowing stars came to view. Their coloration was simply ineffable ; It radiated exquisiteness and power. There was no such hue back at home. A hefty sheet of silence had enveloped around me, Its blankness seemed to be sniggering at my Perturbation. My blood boiled with admiration and agitation at the same time. There it was, The enormous magnificent dignified universe glaring back at me, with a smug look on its face; I was a nil compare to it.

As my face was glued to the port-hole my eyes were filled with an ebony blanket, flooded with infinite sparks of glistening stars. The sparks of light carried in the gloomy cradle were like a baby carried in its mothers arms. Glaring at the imaginary, doubtful, seemingly dire black world, my brain was zipping with dreadful thoughts as to what this exquisite sheet really is. My eyes dismayed to the point, they didn’t dare to twitch or blink. The everlasting existence, led me to a state of awe.
My chilled breath frosted against the ice cold port hole, slightly blurring out the magnificent view of the multicoloured peculiar floating sphere in the infinite sparkling sable background known to us as space. The blend of the earth’s green, blue, and brown surface with its white poles was sensational. It took me a while to realize that the cool coloured sphere I gaped over was my home, my country, my planet. Every laugh and every cry, every love and every war, everything that I’ve ever known was on this fantastic sphere that I then hovered above.
This porthole was the only thing between me and an infinite void, beautiful with billions upon billions of gigantic, luminous balls of plasma twinkling amongst it, but at the same time deadly, with a vacuum that sucks the life out of any living organism in existence. Compared to the stature of this unending universe, this massive spacecraft is as tiny as a speck of sand in the great Sahara Desert. Truly, the vastness of the mysterious cosmos baffles me.

^ Absolutely fabulous Kris! Superb stuff. A* without a doubt!
My one is quite long...

:)
K. Thanks, Sir.

*I stared out....
Nothing in the world can peal my eyes away from the exciting and rapturous universe.
the stories everyone wrote are amazing by the way =P :D

Hope this isn't too long :S
The golden lofty orb is emitting unimaginable amounts of light, instantly grabbing my attention....

thx sir!!!
:D awesome, thanks Sir!
Thanks sir :D i was waiting for the feedback since like, 5 minutes after i posted it (A) ahahaha :]
