Woah! Some scary landings there.I remember I had seen a documentary of an incident that took place in a short flight to Canada. The plane's left engine had failed and the pilots were very worried and wanted to make an emergency landing at the nearest runway, but as soon as they prepared for landing they realised that the right engine aswell as the centre engine of the plane had failed. They were very confused and local authorities were'nt able to track them aswell, because of the same reason. They managed to land on a runway, which was'nt a runway anymore but was a racing track, where a race was about to be held. The pilots, managed to reduced the planes speed by revolving the plane around itself.Eventually, the plane landed and everyone was safe on the track where the race organizers helped the passengers.
No one was ever able to land a plane successfully with all its engines failed at that time.

Thank you. I already pray one to the dozen from the time I enter the plane to when it lands. This does not help 8|

Wow, the most chilling landings I’ve ever seen. Truly alarming.

Hmm...alarming but they did manage to land safely in the end. It would have been more scary, not to mention more fun to watch, if they had to make an emergency landing on a highway or somewhere in the wilderness...

HAHA! Irony STRIKES! The one thing that truly frightens me (apart from clowns!). I have been afraid of heights since as ong as I can remember and I alays felt a plane crash was going to be like my Battle of Waterloo. However, to me fear is a matter of perspective really, it is almost like a barcode, wherein the phobias we share may be similar, but the intricate details are different. So, to me, if I am 3 or 3000 feet off the ground really does'nt make much of a difference! Both make me equally frightened and dizzy.

Ultimately, it is the way we potray a disaster as it is. Within our minds, media etc. that affects our optimism/pessimism towards these well, for the sake of the relevant topic; plane landings. Just to make my point clear, there are possibly a million other nasty things that could happen to us as well. For instance, going to a restaurant and having a steak could have been possibly deadly about 5 years ago (remember Madcow?).There's a little food for thought! :-)

Either that was fake, or the pilots had a massive amount of luck on board the aircraft. It was not scary at all, actually quite funny. The last one looked like the pilot was drinking or something, I don't know about you, but it was funny.

Now I'm probably stuck in Dubai, I'm never flying again!

Just to quickly point out - the pilots aren't the ones making the planes sway so dangerously - it's the strong crosswind that's causing it. The pilot in the last video was incredibly skillful - he aborted the landing at the last possible second. Can you imagine being a passenger on that flight!

Haha makes you re-think about travelling! I guess it's part of the experience.
Hats off to the pilots!

WOW!!! mind blowing!!!!!!
its really amazing how well these skillful pilots handled the situations!!! all of this just made me think about how we take flying for granted!! so many of us travel in planes every year, but we never realize that such things can happen. its become such a norm to sit in an aircraft that we don't even think twice of how things could go wrong!!!
we have advanced so much in technology that we never expect such things to happen but the recent crashes reported is just a reminder to us that mother nature still rules and can take her toll anytime.

thats all i can say right now
i'd still get on a plane though :P

Really nice video.. Its amazing that someone in all the cases managed to video these or was it the airport cameras?
It is scary to watch but not very scary as thankfully no accidents occurred. I guess you have to give credit to the pilots and co-pilots.
I feel pity for the passengers because I myself was in a flight where there was a lot of terbulence and I had felt nauseated. I wounder how these passengers felt?

Haha! I know its probably mean to laugh but that was quite funny! Though if you think about it, it would be quite terrifying if you actually were on one of those planes! That was a good display of skills and bravery, especially that last one!!

I have a feeling I'm never going to use planes again. Although I must say that pilots on all of thoses flights were extremely skilled. The last one was the best-it looked very much like a toy plane being handled by an inexperienced 3 year old!

I would definately think twice before getting on a plane again, especially if it was a small chartered plane!! Some skilled pilots there..

Wow..scary but still wicked. I wouldnt want to be one of those passengers.. I would have been scared out of my wits

cool landings.. those are some really skilled pilots.. especially the last one!! i can't imagine what would've happened if he hadn't aborted! there's another one who turned JUST in time to avoid landing in the sea.. it'd be really scary to be on those flights.. though most of them didn't look very frightening, i'm sure the passengers would disagree with me lol

Eek, and I'm travelling in November -.-
Sure, everyone's aware of plane crashes and the risks of flying; all this video did was make my faith in pilots stronger. Especially the last few ones, it's insane to see how strong winds can be.
I guess all we can do is pray really hard, and hope the Pilot hasn't had a few drinks ;) But haha, I don't think they'd be dense enough to be that irresponsible, pilots are extremely qualified, and hats off to them.

That was frightning!
i wonder how the pilot and the passengers felt when they knew something was terribly wrong with the plane or the wheather!
i agree with everyone else..those pilots were truly amazing and definetley had the courage to handle their planes. Talk about letting your life in someone else's hands!! pilots are great at what they do and i think they are worth every penny! :D
